The Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, held a bilateral meeting today with H.E. Stephan Lang, U.S. Coordinator for International Communications and Information Policy, on the sidelines of the 5th ADGMIN in Bangkok, Thailand. During the meeting, Dr. Kao acknowledged the United States' steadfast commitment to fostering digital cooperation with ASEAN. He highlighted the significance of this partnership in advancing critical areas for ASEAN’s digital economy, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and undersea cable infrastructure.
