PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles couldn't have asked for a better start.

On the opening kickoff of Sunday’s wild-card playoff matchup against the Green Bay Packers, linebacker Oren Burks, who was drafted by the Packers in 2018 and spent four seasons with them, delivered a massive hit on All-Pro returner Keisean Nixon. The hit forced a fumble, which was quickly recovered by Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

Just three plays later, quarterback Jalen Hurts – back from a concussion that kept him sidelined for the previous two games – connected with a wide-open Jahan Dotson in the back of the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown, giving the Eagles a 7-0 lead. It marked Dotson's first touchdown of the season, including the postseason.

Hurts’ time to throw on the touchdown pass was an impressive 6.75 seconds, the second-longest on any of his career passing touchdowns, regular season or postseason, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
