Bangladesh to Celebrate 55th Independence Day on Wednesday
As Bangladesh celebrates its Independence Day, the nation comes together in unity, strength, and a shared commitment to safeguarding freedom and democracy. The observances, under the guidance of the interim government led by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, take place at the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar. The official proceedings will begin with a 31-gun salute at dawn, followed by wreath-laying ceremonies at the memorial by President Mohammed Shahabuddin, Chief Adviser Dr. Yunus, senior officials, and freedom fighters.
