The White House took aim at the "radical left" in a social media post on Sunday, sharing an AI-generated image of former President Donald Trump wielding a lightsaber in honor of May the Fourth—widely known as Star Wars Day.
Celebrated annually by fans of the iconic film series, May 4th plays off the famous phrase "May the Force be with you," reimagined as "May the Fourth be with you."
In a post on X, the White House joined in on the celebration while also launching political barbs at critics of the Trump administration.
"Happy May the 4th to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting so hard to bring Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, & well known MS-13 Gang Members, back into our Galaxy. You’re not the Rebellion—you’re the Empire," the post read. "May the 4th be with you."
